Chris has returned from his hunting trip, where he successfully killed a black bear. The meat will be frozen and the bearskin will be left as a great memory and trophy. Chris and his father had a great time hunting and spending the time together.
This week Hospice Care has been brought in. Hospice care will provide the family with an interdisciplinary team. This team will consist of doctors, nurses, social workers, counselors, home health aides, clergy, therapists, and trained volunteers. They will offer support based on their special area of expertise. Together they provide complete care aimed at relieving symptoms and giving social, emotional, and spiritual support.
Amy and Chris are doing well, they are taking one day at a time. There is no consistency in their lives. Every day brings a new challenge, just when you thought you could do no more. Please keep them in your prayers!!
