On Tuesday morning, when Chris was supposed to be leaving for his first of 2 hunting trips, he awoke with vomiting, high fever, and severe headaches. He was brought to the hospital were they ran a number of tests to determine the cause. Meningitis was ruled out, along with other causes. Chris remained at the local hospital because there were no available beds at Mass General. He was released on Wednesday afternoon with morphine for the head pain. Chris and his father have made the best of the situation and have left for the planned trip today. They will be hunting for Turkeys!! They will return on Saturday. Amy and Chris will be attending the George Strait concert.

Next week they will be heading to Canada to hunt for Black Bear.
